Saint Patrick's Day
OH Repost: Cook a St. Patty's Day feast
Submitted by wendy on February 17, 2011 - 11:59amI'm pretty Irish but can't cook. My mother in-law isn't Irish and cooks like nobody's business.
We've been craving my in-laws annual Saint Patrick's Day feast. Unfortunately we've moved across the state and can no longer enjoy the festivities. Festivities that include the most delicious corned beef (hey, it's America) and soda bread, a few green brews, and my brother in-law who is the most Irish, non-Irish Mexican I know belting out Irish pub songs while sporting his "traditional Irish garb." You get the idea.
A four-leaf clover hunting we will go
Submitted by wendy on March 17, 2009 - 1:20pmNot feeling the luck o' the Irish today? Change it by getting yourself a four-leaf clover. This 4-leaf clovers finder's guide posted on Instructables is complete with clear photos and instructions for finding and displaying your green treasures. What a thrill for the kids, discovering a rare four-leaf clover! After homework and dinner are finished my family is heading out back, taking advantage of the late sunset, to going a-hunting for our own four-leaf luck.

Simply constructed using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter and a handful of green gumdrops you can have these babies out and ready to please before you can say "They're magically delicious!"
Because St. Patty's Day is so money...
Submitted by wendy on March 17, 2009 - 9:49amTo show the world how money it is to be Irish today or perhaps because you own not a smidgen of green and don't want the kids to get all pinchy-pinchy on yer arse when they show you what they learned at school today, Curbly contributor Chrisjob has posted this tute for folding a shamrock from a dollar bill. Bring on the St. Patty's Day shinanigins!
Digging this Saint Patrick's Day Sensory tub idea
