7/26 is "Kids Day" at Comic-Con San Diego
Comic-Con 2009 has released its geek-eriffic lineup for this year's fest in San Diego, and Sunday July 26 is officially dubbed "Kids Day." There are panels galore, including discussions about what's hot and trending in kids' graphic novels, a Jack Kirby tribute and Q&A with animated filmmakers, as well as producers and voice talent from television and movies. There's also a Manga workshop, a live old-timey radio program broadcasts, a peak into the world of Sccoby Doo, Wonder Pets, Muppets, Spongebob and Emily Strange -- and that's all before Noon!
Also of note -- the San Diego International Children's Film Festival. This year's day-long programming of some of the finest of films for children of all ages also officially launches the 6th annual edition of the festival, which runs from July 26 through August 16 around San Diego.
Check out the official Comic-Con 2009 site for details and line-up. Unfortunately, this is now a sold out event. But Otterhop.com will bring you kid-centric view of this year's Comic-Con--we'll be there covering the entire thing!
