DIY jelly bean bracelets
What to do with that candy mountain you suddenly accumulated Sunday which is sitting in an Easter basket in your front room constantly taunting you? Ever person your kids came in contact with on Easter seemed to have a special candy treat for them that was "Left by the Easter Bunny" at their home with a "note" specifying it was to be delivered to your kids. Grateful as you are that the loved ones in your life thought of your kids, you're still are stuck with enough candy to feed a small orphanage. And most of it consists of jelly beans that are mysteriously jumping out of the baskets and making a trail across your floor.
That's where this sweet and tasteful jelly bean bracelet DIY can help. Yes, it won't exactly rid of the candy so that it never makes it's way into your kids' bellies but it is rather stylish and fun I must admit. Mrs. D. Lightful has put together a nice tutorial with plenty of pictures and color combination examples. Make a few of these babies for an on-the-go treat. Or tuck them away for when you really need a well-behaved kid, say at the next visit to the doctor's office.
