The egg hunt is over...repurpose those eggshells into spring mosaics

Lately, I've fully embraced the whole recycle and repurpose movement. Save and reuse, jelly jars to coffee grounds...My husband must think I'm insane; especially now that I've placed a request that all eggshells removed from any hard boiled eggs collected yesterday at a cousin's traditional Easter Egg Hunt be given to me. But what he'll soon see, and what I'm sharing with you is that eggshells actually make a nice medium for crafting mosaics.

A simple, no-brainer project for my tot who loves counting and ordering her new egg collection all while gobbling up her hard boiled colored orbs at an alarming rate. My 9 year old son, who is equally enamored with them, is sure to make his own version of an eggshell mosaic but it will probably be more like this.
