How to make festive Chanukah stamps from recycled styrofoam
Chanukah begins at sundown December 11th...Yikes! That leaves practically no time for holiday crafting with my kids, something that brings me huge amounts of pleasure. Decorating our home together with symbols and colors associated with the Festival of Lights using recycled materials simply warms my heart.
That's why I love this Chanukah print making idea from Creative Jewish Mom. I must say I have some vivid memories of printing making with styrofoam from my own childhood...carving, painting, printing, revealing, oohing and aahing...I'm talking major fun here! This simple yet versatile idea takes minimal time and materials. The tutorial is complete with clear directions and pictures for different ways to use the prints. I'm especially fond of the menorah bunting and can totally see it strung up in our entry way waiting to greet visitors into our happy jewish home. A cheap, easy and eco-friendly craft that's big on Chanukah spirit, charm and family togetherness.
