Jam family band style: DIY Guitar Hero controller to tot-sized guitar

We've been known to thrown down some serious Guitar Hero family band jam sessions on most weekend nights. While our 4 year old daughter prefers to be the lead singer we do rotate through the instruments to keep it fair. And although she wields the guitar like a real trooper it's obvious how awkward it is for her to play her very best...We can't have that (especially when "money" and new gigs are to be earned).

That's why I love ProfMuggs' Instructable for converting a Guitar Hero controller into a toddler-sized guitar. This DIY is way our of my league. However, that's just me being electronically inept. Anyone who has experimentally disassembled a circuit board could probably figure this project out with minimal roadblocks.

ProfMuggs:

My two year old daughter recently started playing Beatles Rock band with me, but she had a lot of trouble reaching the buttons on the neck. The strap wouldn't adjust high enough either, so I decided to get her own controller and modify it for her.

Break it apart, cut it up, stick it all back together, step back and watch your toddler shred...Awesome.
