Make photo postcards and send your best thanks

Thank you notes, necessary handwritten expressions of gratitude. Yes, I do my job maintaining propriety when it comes to sending my very best and yes, I do get teed-off if someone doesn't do the same (hey, those Little Marc Jacobs Days of the Week onesies were NOT cheap!). Yet, I would gladly do any chore in order to not have to write them (except perhaps expressing my dog's anal glands). And outwardly deceiving my 10 year old son into thinking mommy has some mad-love for penning card after card just feels wrong. So, since it's just something we're stuck doing we might as well get some thrill out of it...Right?

Jenny of Dinner: A Love Story has come up with the idea of making photo postcards to use as thank you cards. Um...hello...genius! She takes a group snap shot at the party and creates the postcards on Cafepress. The finished cards are seriously cute. So cute you and your mini-scribe are sure to get those birthday gift thank you cards in the mail before your allotted three months are up. Now aren't you proud of yourself?
