New Hasbro games focus on teaching kids manners

Who needs math and reading games, when kids today are just so darn rude? That's the point of these Hasbro games. The three games focus on a different lesson--sharing, listening and good manners--and are each accompanied by a book and CD. They take place at either a pizza parlor, amusement park or picnic and follow a group of kids in the fictional town of Noodleboro as they navigate sticky social situations that teach them proper behavior. The concept for the games emerged from Hasbro market research indicating that parents of preschoolers tend to prioritize imparting basic social, rather than academic, skills to their young children.

Here's the Noodleboro Pizza Palace Listening Game.

I prefer by far the game Don't Pick Your Nose - good manners for children from 4bambini. It does not use any CD or books, but only pretty illustrations and game cards which the children need to match with proper answers. Our 7 years old plays with our neighbor(5) and they memorized both all questions and answers very rapidly. I have ordered a second game from them about Children safety; let's see if I like it as much.
