Repurpose magazine pages into funky flowers
This entire last week of school my 9 year old son has been asking "So...What are we doing on vacation?" Which I exhaustingly answer "I don't know." With only a few getaways here and there and me not wanting to cave into hours wasted playing the Wii I desperately need ideas to fill those times when there's nothing TO DO.
This video tutorial for folding magazine pages into funky flowers from Craftstylish member alamodestuff is right up our summer-fun alley. With a few folds and swipes of the glue stick the recycled paper is transformed into delightful flowers that can be made into a bouquet for grandma or delicious garland to string up for quick summer decor. Easy even for a 9 year old boys...resourceful enough to teach the boy a recycling...cheap for my shallow pockets...fun for us to do together.
