Set the stage w/old school fun: Upcycled shoebox to puppet theater
Shoeboxes...We all have them....It's hard to toss them, especially knowing one day your kid will be assigned the dreaded diorama project. But do you really need 20 of them shoved into the corner of your already crammed garage by your spatially challenged self?
Thank you More Mom Time for reminding us of what can be done with an empty shoebox. Check out her tutorial for making a shoebox puppet theater. Now, I know you probably did this yourself when you were a kid so take a moment...step into your way-back-machine...and remember what fun you had staging your very own puppet show for your family. Activities like this are the best kind of activities. They are cheap, easy and fast to begin with and more importantly they spark inventiveness, challenge creativity and fire up those imaginations. And let's face it...Puppets rule!
