Sew a monster face pillow and stir up those imaginations.
Uber-savvy parenting blogs MADE and Made by Rae are running their special series called "Celebrate the Boy" which is chockfull of crafts and goodies from all sorts of crafty crafter guests. Each day proves to be more and more eye-popping.
With that said, holy mackerel, this tutorial contributed by Disney of Ruffles and Stuff for making a changeable Monster Pillow is brilliant, utterly brilliant. And seriously impressive for a mommy of only girls.
According to Disney:
It's like flannel graph on a pillow! With a sly little pocket in the back to save all the pieces, and mom's sanity. The play possibilities are practically endless. You'll probably even find yourself nudging them out of the way for "mommy's turn". (Or...maybe that was just me.)
A simple pillow to sew, Disney has included step-by-step instructions and even a printable template for the face pieces. What boy (or girl) wouldn't love mixing and matching all kinds of wacky faces on this pillow plaything? Didn't I say it was brilliant?
