Post something on Otterhop -- it's easy!
Do you have something interesting, useful or cool that you'd like like to tell other parents about? Post it on Otterhop.com! It's easy. Sign up for a free author account or login and then select one of the types of content below to submit:
- Front Page Story A Front Page Story can be a blog posting, or a link to something else online--it's totally freeform. You can target specific user groups (like Los Angeles or New York) and optionally add photos and video to your story as well. All submissions will be open to community discussion.
- Group Groups are interest-based communities that can take on whatever form you'd like. Common group types are based on geography (e.g., Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, etc.) but can be just about anything related to parent interests--arts and crafts, maternity, music--whatever you'd like. Users can subscribe to your group to receive e-mail when new content is submitted, and they can post related content as well. Each group also has its own events calendar and discussion forum. Once you create a group, you become the "owner" of that group's content.
- Event An event is anything that has a specific start and end time. Events will automatically be added to the searchable Otterhop calendar and can be targeted to specific audience groups.
- Park Help us grow our park directory by adding local park information. Other users will be able to contribute photos and rate the park based on kid and parent-friendly criteria. Got a sweet place to take the kids? Share it with us!
