There's a new *Playground* @ Funbrain for families
According to information released by the company:
Funbrain, which has always been a great place for primary age through middle school kids to go for educational puzzles, games, online books, and resources, has just launched a new "playground" on their popular site offering 22 wacky, mouse-driven games suitable for young kids ages 2-6. It's being tagged as a safe, fun place for parents to play with their children online.
The characters on the playground are cute and have a sort of *Ugly Doll* appeal. Games are educational helping to develop hand-eye coordination (last time I had to sell someone on that was back when I was in middle school myself trying to convince my own parents why a Nintendo entertainment System was a good thing--ok--I think I might have just dated myself--ugh) and important concepts such as colors, numbers and counting. Our favorite games are the charming "Desert Dive" where your character has to use just the right force on a teeter-toter to help your partner fly off his seat and into a pool of water without crashing head-first onto the desert floor and a counting game on the playground is
"Pickle Pop" where you assist a green pickle in counting and popping bubbles that the mommy or daddy pickle (hard to tell)have blown.
