A tutorial for making a dollhouse from recycled catalog pages
The time has come to accept defeat and face the fact that not matter how many times I cancel a catalog from being delivered to my home it always seems to work it's way back into my mailbox. Although most are tossed directly into the recycle bin out of sheer disgust at having my request ignored so many time, there are a few I still daydream over. Especially the ones filled with page after page of beautiful room setups promising the perfect life can be lived just by settling my weary buns on plush, ultrasuede cushions.
That's why I love this tutoial for making a paper dollhouse from See the Woods and the Trees. Constructed from cardboard and catalog pages it puts recycled materials to good use. The project is a nice craft for you to do with your happy little homemaker. She can customize her mini-home for her mini-people and you can keep your dream home alive for a while longer. And when you two get bored with the paper creature comforts simply cover the cardboard walls with new pages from the summer catalog you just received in the mail.
