Black History Month event @ CAAM, Sat. Feb. 21st
The California African American Museum (CAAM) in Los Angeles is offering a special series of free workshops honoring Black History Month. For the next two Saturdays families can come to the museum and participate in themed activities designed to educate the community about African American heritage. The series, African Americans, Naturally, will be conducted by Angela Briggs and "offers art projects portraying aspects of African American history" with an Earth conscious connection. Reservations are required for the workshops which are 12-1:30pm and 2:30-3pm and can be made by calling 213.744.2024. A great faily event weaving art and culture during this important month.
