Claw your way around the Redonodo Beach Lobster Festival this weekend

The Redondo Beach Lobster Festival takes place this weekend September 26-28th at the Seaside Lagoon. In it's 13th year this annual event promises fun for the whole family. plus loads of "fresh Maine Lobsters." While there's plenty of live entertainment including wake boarding demos and music acts like Too Rude. While the children's area boasts environmental educational outreach demonstrations like the Wyland Clean Water Mobile plus Pirate and Lobster costume contests, face painting, hands-on art, puppet shows by
Jim Gamble, pirate themed bounce house, book readings and much more all covered in the cost of admission. And festival packages can be purchased through the site until midnight Wednesday.
General admission is $12 for adults, kids 3-12 are $5 and under 3 kids are free. The festival runs Friday, Sept. 26 from 5-11pm, Saturday, Sept. 27 from Noon-11pm and Sunday, Sept. 28 from Noon-9pm. A family fun in the sun type of festival. Snap to it and scuttle on over to Redondo Beach for some crustacean-y goodness.
