Falcon Theatre in Burbank presents "As U2 Like It"

The Falcon Theatre in Burbank, Ca. is somewhat known for their pop-musical interpretations of classic stories like their popular "Alice in One-Hit-Wonderland" series.

Which is why it so totally makes sense that they would put together "As U2 Like It". Directed by Matt Walker, yes, this is their musical take on the cross-dressing classic Shakespeare comedy "As you Like It" set to the music of U2. "The Troubies are back! And With or Without You they’ll be singing and dancing through the Bard’s comedy to the music of rock icon U2. It’s a Beautiful Day when the Troubies perform, and if you Still Haven’t Found What You’re Looking For, you’ll be sure to find it at the Falcon!" Kids will appreciate a musical version of a Bard classic. Parents will enjoy their strategic use of U2 hits to move the comedy along (think "Mama Mia"). I'm curious about the ball gag myself.
