Intense 3-day summer art camp in Culver City for kids 4-11
The kids are home for the summer begging to pull out the paints. As a good parent you understand the importance of self-expression through creating art yet you yearn to keep your house clean for at least one whole day. Why not go elsewhere to get your kids' artistic juices flowing? You won't have to deal with the mess, the kids will get out of the house and around other kids for a while giving their imaginations a workout and they might actually learn something wonderful about art.
Uber-talented artist/editor/educator/mommy Jodi Waxman is offering an intense summer art camp for mini-Picassos ages 4-11. From 9am-12pm--August 10th thru 12th, for three hours a day, your young artist will join Jodi at her home in Culver City to construct unique pieces of art using a variety of mediums. According to Jodi "I've always made art in one way or another, through painting, printmaking, drawing or photography, and each medium has so many different things to offer the artist. My intention of this workshop is to expose kids to different styles and media of artistic expression through traditional painting (acrylics), collage/mixed media, and basic printmaking." The workshop cost $175 which includes all three days and art materials. Because of the nature of the projects in the series of workshops you must be willing to commit to all three days of the camp. Space is limited and there are no drop-ins. To register for the camp and for more information please contact her by emailing her at:
