Le Vent du Nord and Circo Comedia perform at World City, Sat.
The Music Center's family series World City is back this Saturday with a special program showcasing artists from our friends to the north. Join in on the fun when folk music group Le Vent du Nord and French-Canadian circus performance troupe Circo Comedia hit the W.M. Keck Amphitheatre stage with the sounds and silliness of Quebec, Canada.
"Le Vent du Nord has quickly become one of the most recognizable and esteemed bands of the Québec traditional music world. Featuring a range of instruments including guitar, violin, accordion, and hurdygurdy, the group performs songs taken from the traditional repertoire as well as their own compositions, captivating audiences with their energy and humor.
"Unpredictable thrills, side-splitting comedy and daredevil stunts are the signature style of Circo Comedia starring the fantastic duo Jean Saucier and Patrick Cote. Performing their distinctive style of humor, acrobatic tricks, and daring feats, Circo Comedia are making their Music Center debut."
This performance is free but requires a pre-distributed tickets that can be picked up first come-first serve on Grand Avenue at 2nd Street at 10am for the 11am performance and at 11am for the 12:30pm performance.
