National Pancake Day, Feb. 24th: Eat hotcakes for a great cause

Tuesday, February 24th families are invited to various IHOP restaurants nationwide to celebrate National Pancake Day. From 7-10am guests will be served up some piping hot, tasty flapjacks for a really great cause.

"IHOP is aiming to raise $1 million for the Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities with its 4th National Pancake Day celebration on February 24. IHOP restaurants nationwide will offer guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and in return, IHOP will ask guests to donate what they would have paid for the pancakes, or more, to Children’s Miracle Network or other local charities."

And if your nearest IHOP happens to be 5655 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036 (Miracle Mile) you're in for an extra special treat. From 9-11am guests at this location will be served their hot cakes by Miss America, Kate Stam, who is the ambassador for the IHOP National Pancake Day efforts nationwide. She'll be on hand to help flip the hotcakes, serve up the grub and for autographs and photos encouraging guests to donate to this wonderful cause that helps so many children.

Fill up your kiddies' tummies with a satisfying power-breakfast fueling them for a long day of learning. And fill up your family's hearts knowing your helping children in serious need. How delicious is that?
