Score big Super Bowl Sunday with these sporty cupcakes

Family Fun wins the game with this super sporty, super simple Football Cupcake Recipe. Who wouldn't want to munch down on one of these easy-to-make mini cakes while cheering on their favorite team this Superbowl Sunday? I posted this cupcake recipe a year ago on our site but I wanted to post it again for a couple of reasons. First, my darling husband accidentally cleared out all our archived posts from the beginning of journey writing this blog, basically deleting forever months of posts, when he updated our Drupal page--ugh! Next, it's simply the best football themed cupcake ever. Finally, I'm convinced, with it's strategic usage of a fruit leather, pretzels and chocolate covered almonds, that Family Fun is the
MacGyver of cupcake-y goodness and I challenge anyone to prove me otherwise. Plus, they also provide an awesome video how-to for decorating the cupcake for those of us visual learners. The video includes a suggestion for using frosting in your team's colors to truly represent your loyalty. I think it would be fun to divide the cakes and decorate half Steelers, half Cardinals and let your guests pick their favorite team and see who comes out on top at your party. A sweet finish to your chili cheese and buffalo wing nachos feast.
