Construct kaleidoscopes with the kids

Summer days equal long sunny days. Enjoy all these delicious days and get the kids outside. However, when it reaches surface of the sun temperatures outside you might seem less than motivated to take the fun outdoors.

This tutorial for constructing a kaleidoscope courtesy of se7en is perfect for getting the kids outside to soak up some of that vitamin D without stroking out from the heat. Made from tinfoil, paper, plastic baggies and a few other accessible household items this project is cheap and easy for kids to put together. Now out you go for some homemade psychedelic summer fun!
