OH Repost: Splitting the Red Sea diorama from recycled items
Pesach is here! Rich in Jewish tradition and storytelling, we dig it and my kids can't get enough of Moses, especially the part about the Red Sea. Yeah, that's pretty awesome!
Looking for a way to enhance the holiday for the kids I came across Creative Jewish Mom's tutorial for a Krias Yam Suf (The Splitting Of The Red Sea) Diorama. I'm completely, head-over-heels, in love with this craft made from materials you probably already have around the house, some recycled and some just basic art supplies. Wine corks are one of the recycled items which, let's face it, if you hosted a Seder you know you have enough of those lying around to make an entire Israelite village. What a fun craft, complete with directions, pics and some really entertaining storytelling you just have to read yourself to appreciate. Thanks Sara!
